Job2Do – Thai Reggae
By admin | January 31, 2010
Job2Do is without a doubt the best known Thai Reggae Band in Thailand. Job2Do, with lead singer Job Bunjob, has a huge cult following in Thailand and thanks to the many visitors who have seen his concerts in Thailand, now has a substantial following in many other countries. Job Bunjob, Thai Reggae singer and composer, comes from South Thailand and has been performing for nearly 20 years, mostly in South Thailand at beaches and Reggae venues in Phuket, Krabi, Phi Phi and Koh Samui.
Whilst many of Job2Do’s songs have become hits, perhaps their most famous song and one that nearly everyone in Thailand must have heard, is “Doo Ter Tam”, which you can listen to below. Job Bunjob, whose music is influenced by the great Bob Marley, has composed many songs about freedom, the environment and the sea.
Unfortunately, Job2Do’s own website has closed and information about dates and venues is hard to find. If anyone should have information about future Job2Do events we will be glad to publish it here.
