Thai Newspaper - The Nation

The Thai Newspaper, The Nation, first published in 1971 as The Voice of the Nation, is Thailand’s 2nd major English language Thai Newspaper. The Nation is a Broadsheet Thai newspaper, published in Bangkok, owned by the Nation Multimedia Group.

Similar in format to its main rival, The Bangkok Post, The Nation gives good coverage of both International and Domestic news.

In March 2008, The Nation underwent a fundamental change when it was split into two newspapers. The Nation and the Daily Xpress. The Nation is now published only Monday – Saturday and is more focussed on Business and Politics. The Daily Xpress is a free English language Tabloid style newspaper and is published daily. The Daily Xpress is distributed inside The Nation but is also available on its own at newsstands. (The Daily Xpress is now discontinued)
