The Thailand Garden, Tweechol Botanical Garden, is located in the Doi Saket area of Chiang Mai. Tweechol Botanical Garden was founded in 1997 and is the most beautiful Thailand Garden in Chiang Mai.
This is a garden to relax in and enjoy. The spectacular landscaping of Tweechol Botanical Garden with its many lakes and floral displays is quite simply a work of art. With over 100 varieties of Palm Trees, Cycads, Cacti and Succulents, Bromeliads and Herbs, Tweechol Botanical Garden is the perfect introduction to the beautiful tropical plants of Thailand.


Tweechol Botanical Garden covers a large area and to help you get around there are bicycles and golf buggies for hire as well as a mini tram system. Within the garden there is a Restaurant, Mini Zoo, Lake with paddle boats, Swimming Pool, Horse training arena and Camping area.

Tweechol Botanical Garden is also involved in education, research and conservation. There is an area displaying the old Lanna way of life with 3 Lanna style houses and a museum, the Huen Chaiharn Museum, with many articles depicting Lanna history together with a vast collection of historical and valuable Buddha and Brahmin images along with many other exhibits.

Tweechol Botanical Garden is part of the Horizon Village and Resort which is just 10kms from Chiang Mai on the Chiang Mai – Doi Saket road. Open Daily. Adults Baht 80, Children Baht 40.
