Ganesh (Ganesha, Ganesa) is a very popular choice for a Sak Yant and there are several Ganesh Sak Yant designs available. Known as the Remover of Obstacles, Ganesh was the son of Shiva and Parvati and is perhaps the best known of the Hindu deities, instantly recognizable by his Elephant head. Although Ganesh is a Hindu God, he is worshiped by people of many religions and is especially revered by many Buddhists in Thailand.
There are many reasons for the popularity of a Ganesh Sak Yant. Not only is Ganesh the remover of obstacles, although sometimes he can put obstacles in one’s path, but he is also the Lord of Beginnings and therefore chosen by many people who are about to start some new enterprise. Ganesh is the Patron of the Arts and Science and also the Lord of letters and learning.

Hi. I reside in Singapore and would like to know more about Sak Yant. Well, I have researched and looked around for long. I am a hindu myself and quite honestly, hinduism and buddhism share a very close resemblance. Well, I met with a terrible accident in Malaysia ard Apr 09. Since then, my life has taken a turn for the worst. After the accident, I underwent numerous operations. To date, I am still undergoing medical operations and to be honest, the faith I once had is slowly vanishing. Both my arms have been severely hurt. First, my right hand suffered multiple bone fractures and some parts of the bones were so badly smashed that only metal parts are holding my hand in place. My nerves on my right hand have also been damaged and to date, my right hand stays immobile. Secondly, my left hand also has multiple fractures. On top of that, the elbow was so badly damaged that they had to fix it with a metal implant. Just when all hope was restored, I had hit my elbow slightly while on my way to work. This had caused my elbow implant to give way. I was rushed to hospital and I am currently going for my umpteenth medical procedure. Nothing ever seems to be going right for me. But some how, with recommendation from friends and family, I stumbled upon the powers of Sak Yant. I have heard stories and people who swear by the power of it. With true faith and devotion, their lives have transformed for the better. I humbly approach this site to advice me on some of the facts and what, where and how I can get it done. Be rest assured, I have and will always be a pious individual. Its just that, having to face so many difficulties from the prime age of 26, suddenly, it all does not seem to make sense. If i were to make a trip to Thailand, who do i approach? At the same time, what kind (oil or ink) is advisable? I would really like a renowned monk to truly bless me and rid me of all this bad comings. Also to protect me and some how by God’s will, to help me with a speedy recovery. Please advice me accordingly. Any advice is truly appreciated. Thank you all in advance. Have a nice day.
