  • Baht Conversion – Thai Currency Converter

Use our handy Thai Currency Converter, updated every 4 hours, for your Baht conversion. You should try to do all your Baht conversion in Thailand as you will get a much better exchange rate. This is because the Bank of Thailand has 2 exchange rates, “Offshore” and “Onshore” and there is a substantial difference between the two rates.
All the International airports in Thailand have currency exchange counters so there is no need to travel with large amounts of Thai Baht. ATM machines are widely available and accept most foreign Credit/Debit cards. Personal cheques are rarely used, a foreign cheque could take weeks to clear. Travelers Cheques are accepted.
Banks in Thailand are open daily, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm and a few open on Saturday mornings. It is worth noting that some Banks will not accept torn or damaged foreign currency.

The official currency of Thailand is the Thai Baht ( ฿ ).

Thai Baht notes are available in the following denominations; 1000, 500, 100, 50, 20, 10 (rare) Baht
